We at Endoxa embrace the concept of “productDNA” – that is the publishing of product data to a centralised GS1 data repository.

In this way, key data about your products is stored centrally to provide a single source of truth (SSOT) for all your sales channels from suppliers to the e-commerce community.

The productDNA data provides reliable product information including:

Ownership
Brand/Sub-Brand, Functional name
Category
Product Description
Logistical information (sizing, weight, packaging etc)
Variant
Net Content
Shelf life
Ingredients
Allergens
Images as per GS1 standard (Release 4.1 Jan 2022)
Source of supply across the supply chain – N.B. becoming increasingly important

Importantly it enables you to keep this data up-to-date across the supply chain. For instance, if the packaging or ingredients change – you just have to change this information in one place.

How does Endoxa help to publish this data easily?

We realize that small to medium suppliers do not have in-house experience of publishing product data – so our goal at Endoxa is to make it as easy as possible for you.

We provide an easy-to-use Excel sheet for you to complete and to upload to our Web platform. We validate it and show you any errors before sending it on for publication through our internal interfaces to GS1. This for new publications and amendments to existing publications.
